| PechaKucha? 20 Slides - 20 Seconds |
20 x 20: PechaKucha is coming to Learning 2007!
Imagine a room with a Learning Colleague up front - with a key story to tell. Each presenter is allowed 20 slides (mainly images or key phrases), each is shown for 20 seconds, giving 6 minutes 40 seconds of fast-powered storytelling before the next presenter is up. This keeps presentations concise, the interest level up and gives more people the chance to present.
Pecha Kucha (which is Japanese for "the sound of conversation") has tapped into a demand for a forum in which people can present, minus boring content.
Wayne Hodgins, a great colleague, friend and MASIE Fellow, will coordinate our 20 x 20 PechaKucha sessions. A few keynoters will use this model and we will also have "One-Hour Clocks," when you can hear from 9 different organizations.
It is a blast! Think of it as Karaoke of Content!
