Our Design

Elliott Masie personally leads the design of each year's Learning event as a working model of changing approaches to collaboration, organizational learning and evolving technology. Over 400 colleagues are actively involved in creating new design factors each year.  You will see the event design evolve each week from now until your arrival in Orlando on October 21st.

Learning 2007 features a strategic blend of activities designed to facilitate your continued learning in these areas:

  • Learning Excellence:  How do we improve the effectiveness of existing learning programs, models and systems?  Let's not get so wrapped up in new "innovations" that we forget that large numbers of our workers are learning in classrooms, on-the-job and with "traditional" e-Learning programs.
  • Learning Experimentation:  We are intrigued and excited about the emerging approaches to learning, training, knowledge transfer, collaboration and human capital management.  Let's mix hands-on experiments, critical conversations and every-day-research.
  • Learning Profession & Careers:  We have to re-energize ourselves, recruit the next generation of learning professionals, prepare for changing roles and governance as well as contribute to the integrity of our field.
  • Learning Together:  Each of the MASIE Events over the past twenty five years has been designed with a focus on active collaboration, discussion and learning amongst colleagues.  Elliott Masie provides an incredible high-energy environment for you to work with new colleagues facing similar challenges and realities.
